NSW - Proposal for TDAs due to feral animal culling
To seek members feedback on the proposal to establish two temporary danger areas (TDA) due to feral animal culling.
The issue
The OAR has received a request at short notice for protective airspace from the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service due to an aerial baiting in remote areas of national parks. The operation is conducted from a helicopter below 3500FT and in daylight hours only.
To mitigate residual airspace risks posed by the bait deployment operation, two TDAs are proposed. Please see attached paper for details.
