Intensive gliding operations in the vicinity of Gloucester (YGCR) NSW.
Intensive glider operations will take place in the vicinity of Gloucester Aerodrome (YGCR), NSW over the period 08 to 16 August 2026.
YGCR is situated approximately BRG 240 DEG MAG 29NM from Taree Aerodrome (YTRE).

To facilitate glider operations associated with the 2026 Gloucester Ridge and Wave Soaring Camp.
Existing airspace categories apply. Air Traffic Control (ATC) procedures are unchanged.
Participating aircraft will broadcast on Common Traffic Advisory Frequency (CTAF) 126.7 MHz when within the area.
Gliders may operate in Class E airspace without transponders.
Should the meteorological phenomena ‘Standing Mountain Lee Waves’ occur, gliders may operate independently outside the area both vertically and laterally and will notify Brisbane Centre.
