Seeking feedback on 3 proposed Temporary Restricted Areas (TRAs) and a proposed Temporary Danger Area (TDA) to mitigate residual airspace risks posed by rocket launch activities.
Weekday launches in the 0800 - 0900 Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) window will be up to flight level 450 (FL450), all other times will be up to FL200.
Weekend rocket launches will be up to FL450.
The weekday launches will occur from 30 October 2023 to 3 November 2023 and the weekend launches will be on 4-5 November 2023. There will be 3 windows on each day, except for Thursday (which will have 4 launch windows), between:

To seek members feedback on the proposal to establish multiple TRAs and a TDA in support of multiple rocket launches.
Due to proximity of permanent military restricted airspace, different arrangements are requested on weekdays and weekends for vertical rocket launch activities. On weekdays, the TRA is limited to 2.5 nautical miles (n mile) from the launch site and to an upper limit of FL200 except for the 0800 to 0900 AEST window, where the TRA extends 7 n mile from the launch site and to an upper limit of FL450.
On weekends, the TRA also extends 7 n mile from the launch site and to an upper limit of FL450. This will impact air traffic service routes Y153, H12, W353.
A TDA of fixed lateral and vertical dimensions is requested for all horizontal launch activities in the same day and time windows.
