    For 19 Feb to 1 Mar 2024, the Bureau of Meteorology will issue a TAF3 for Busselton Aerodrome (YBLN) for the hours 2300 to 0900 UTC, weekdays only.

    Purpose

    Exercise Southern Sunrise, a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) deployment to Busselton Aerodrome (YBLN), will take place during the period 18 February to 2 March 2024. To support this exercise, the Bureau of Meteorology will be issuing a TAF3 for YBLN, between the hours of 2300 to 0900 UTC on weekdays only. A NOTAM is in place for changes to the YBLN TAF service for the specified period. Note that TAF3 are formatted the same as traditional aerodrome forecast (TAF), but are stamped with ‘TAF3’ in the RMKs section for easy identification. As a premium service, the TAF3 for YBLN will undergo a scheduled in-depth review every hour; it will receive priority, proactive amendments to ensure it contains the latest forecast information.
