Identifying air traffic in the vicinity of future BVLOS operations throughout Queensland

Xplorate Pacific is seeking feedback from users of airspace surrounding Gladstone, Roma, Thangool, Miles, Taroom, Wandoan and Tara.

The issue

Xplorate Pacific Pty Ltd performs aerial photography, search and rescue, and inspection missions safely and effectively using remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS).

Purpose

We are seeking your help in identifying relevant operators and air traffic for an upcoming contract where we will be operating within the following areas:

• Gladstone
• Roma
• Thangool
• Miles
• Taroom
• Wandoan
• Tara.

As part of our stakeholder engagement for Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) drone operations, we need to identify as much of the air traffic operating in and around these areas as possible.
