Purpose
To notify AvSEF members of the proposed temporary changes to tower hours at Parafield Airport.
Proposal
Airservices Australia is proposing an extension to temporary amendments to tower hours at Parafield Airport in response to operational resource constraints. These amendments are being proposed to provide improved predictability of our services and reduce ongoing tactical amendments to hours of coverage.
The following tower hours amendments are being proposed subject to CASA approval in line with the 90-day NOTAM validity period and have been determined to ensure safe and efficient service delivery. We are currently targeting a return to tower hours as per ERSA in Q4 2024 in alignment with our workforce deployment and training plans.

*Please note, Parafield Class D airspace 1,500FT and below becomes Class G outside tower hours.
