Proposal to establish two TRA’s in support of Black Sky Aerospace rocket launching activities

Black Sky Aerospace (BSA), a rocketry organisation is seeking to conduct rocket launching activities approximately 40 NM Northwest of Goondiwindi Queensland. Multiple windows are proposed in case of delays with the launching operations.

The issue

To mitigate residual airspace risks posed by the activity, a Temporary Restricted Area (TRA) is proposed from SFC to FL125 within Class G airspace.

To mitigate residual airspace risk posed by the activity, a Temporary Danger Area (TDA) is proposed from SFC to A050 within Class G airspace.

Purpose

To seek members feedback on the proposal to establish two TRAs due to high level rocket launching activity and one TDA due to rocket low level rocket activity.
