Due to operational resource constraints and ongoing Air Traffic Control (ATC) training activity, Airservices Australia proposes extending the temporary amendment of ATC tower hours at Albury Airport, for an additional 90 days.

    Purpose

Due to operational resource constraints and ongoing ATC training activity, Airservices Australia has been operating the ATC tower at Albury Airport with adjusted hours.
To support the completion of this activity, Airservices Australia proposes extending the temporary amendment of ATC tower hours at Albury Airport, for an additional 90 days.

    Proposal

Airservices Australia proposes to update the amended operating hours to ensure safe, efficient, and predictable air traffic services at Albury while we continue our training efforts, commencing 5 May 2025, for a period of 90 days.

Update 30/04/2025: Following further review and to ensure resilience whilst we continue efforts to resume en route supplement Australia (ERSA) published hours, we are now proposing to operate Monday – Friday hours of 0915 to 1730 (local) vice the initially proposed hours of 0615-1700 (local). The updated hours are as per the following table:

ERSA current and proposed Albury airport ATC tower hours
