Proposed Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) logistics operations in Victoria commencing in Quarter 3 2023.
RPAS Operations will occur from surface - 400 feet, Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS), from point-to-point in the area outlined in the attachment. Swoop Aero are seeking input from local airspace users on any deconfliction or safety requirements.
To inform Aviation State Engagement Forum (AvSEF) users of proposed RPAS operations in Victoria, commencing in Quarter 3 2023.
Swoop Aero will be launching Victorian logistics operations in Quarter 2 2023 (calendar year), this network will be launched in a phased approach. These operations will use RPAS, flying BVLOS, to deliver medical goods, logistics, humanitarian aid and disaster relief, mapping, monitoring, surveys and demonstrations.
The Phased expansion of operations is planned as follows:
These operations will take place during, or around, business hours with additional specific stakeholder engagement to be conducted with those areas more directly affected.
In line with CASA approval of these operations, all strategic and tactical deconfliction requirements will be adhered to which may include but not limited to, the use of NOTAMs, and electronic conspicuity devices.
