To consult aviation stakeholders across the Melbourne Basin regarding potential changes to controlled airspace boundaries being developed to support the introduction of Melbourne Airport’s third runway (Runway 16R/34L) and understand any impact on current operating conditions.
To enable independent parallel runway operations at Melbourne Airport, changes are required to controlled airspace north and south of Melbourne to contain suitable instrument approaches.
