    To seek feedback on the establishment of a Temporary Danger Area (TDA) for the duration of the Corryong Cup hang gliding competition being held in January 2026

    The issue

    To warn other airspace users of the residual airspace risk posed by an activity involving up to 75 hang gliders flying in the Corryong area from the 3rd of January 2026 to the 10th of January 2026.

    Proposal

    • The proposed TDA will be in place from 08:00 to 18:00 (local time) daily.
    • The proposed vertical limits of the TDA will extend from surface to 12,500 feet above mean sea level (AMSL) in Class G and E airspace.
    • The lateral limits are as follows: 362424S 1474000E – 360048S 1471724E – 353954S 1482830E - 360048S 1482812E – 362424S 1474000E.
