    To seek feedback on the proposal to establish a Temporary Restricted Area (TRA) in southern Queensland to support the safe launch of rockets.

    Proposal

    Dates:

    1 August 2026 to 30 November 2026

    Four windows each week day (Monday - Friday) as per the following table:

    Monday to Friday (AEST)
    Window 1 0800 - 0900 SFC to FL450
    Window 2 1000 - 1100 SFC to FL200
    Window 3 1200 - 1400 SFC to FL200
    Window 4 1500 - 1600 SFC to FL200

    Four windows each weekend day (Saturday - Sunday) as per the following table:

    Saturday to Sunday (AEST)
    Window 1 0800 - 0900 SFC to FL450
    Window 2 1000 - 1100 SFC to FL450
    Window 3 1200 - 1400 SFC to FL450
    Window 4 1500 - 1600 SFC to FL450

     

    FL200 window details:

    Lateral Limits: Within 2.5 NM RADIUS OF 28° 07' 42" S 149°42' 06" E 
    Vertical Limits: Surface (SFC) to FL200 
    Controlling Authority: Airservices Australia

    FL450 window details:

    Lateral Limits: within 7 NM RADIUS OF 28° 07' 42" S 149°42' 06" E 
    Vertical Limits: SFC to FL450 
    Controlling Authority: Airservices Australia

    Launch windows will be activated by Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) when required. Further detail can be found in the AIP SUP.
