    A Temporary Restricted Area (TRA) will be in place to ensure safety of flight for all airspace users in the vicinity during the Roulette low level flying display.

    The issue

    The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Roulettes will conduct a low‑level flying display involving six PC‑21 aircraft over Olympic Park. The display will take place at 1735L for approximately 10 minutes, centred on 335036S 1510404E with a 3.5 NM radius, from surface (SFC) to Buffer Control Traffic Area (BCTA).

    The Temporary Restricted Area (TRA) associated with this activity will overlap the following airspace and locations: D539A, R405A, Choppers North (CNTH) and Concord HLS (YXCC).

    Purpose

    To ensure safety of flight for all airspace users withing the vicinity by introducing a TRA for a low level Roulette flying display overhead Olympic park during Royal Easter Show celebrations.

    Proposal

    The RAAF Roulettes will be conducting a low level flying display with 6 PC-21 aircraft overhead Olympic Park in support of the Royal Easter Show celebrations. 

    • Air Services Australia will be the controlling authority during the activation period
    • A Flight Information Region (FIR) Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) will be submitted on YMMM
