Professional Helicopter Services are proposing to establish two temporary restricted areas (TRAs) in the vicinity of Phillip Island racetrack.
As in previous years, a TRA is proposed to be established around Phillip Island Moto Grand Prix (GP) racing track from 23 to 25 October 2026, due to increased helicopter activity associated with the event (TRA-MOTOGP). The dimensions of TRA-MOTOGP are unchanged from previous years. In addition, a larger TRA is proposed for multiple Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) flying displays to be conducted over the three days.
To provide notification of the upcoming Moto GP event at Phillip Island and to raise awareness of the increased activity in the area.
The following TRAs are proposed:
TRA-MOTOGP:
Lateral Limits: Within 2 nautical miles (n mile) radius of 383010S 1451355E
Vertical Limits: Surface (SFC) – 5000 feet above mean sea level (AMSL)
Proposed hours of activity: 8am to 6pm local time on the following dates (check NOTAMs):

TRA-DISPLAY:
Lateral Limits: Within 5 n mile radius of 383010S 1451355E
Vertical Limits: SFC – 6000 feet AMSL
