    A request to establish a Temporary Restricted Area (TRA), as per previous years, around Shellharbour Airport, during practice and display times for the annual Wings Over Illawarra Airshow.

    The issue

    Safety is our primary concern, this TRA ensures a safe buffer for display aircraft, ensuring a minimal chance of conflict with either transiting or local traffic.

    Purpose

    This TRA is proposed to ensure safe separation of any display aircraft from any transitting/local traffic.
    The TRA will only be in place during practice and display times

    As per the attached document, a request for a temporary TRA 5nm around Shellharbour Airport over land only, (excluding Bass Point).
    This TRA will only be in place during practice (Friday 11/11/22 1230-1630 local), and display times Saturday/Sunday 12-13/11/22 1030-1630 local). A Unicom will be provided on CTAF frequency during these times. Priority will be given to any Med/RPT flights
