CDU will conduct testing and research to solving logistical challenges around long distance drone flying in very remote areas. The objective of this trial is to explore the use of uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) technology and understand the infrastructure requirements for future drone delivery of healthcare to remote communities.
CDU aims to meet trial objectives utilising an area that covers the Charles Darwin University (CDU) Katherine Campus to Pine Creek. Objective is to land at Pine Creek.

Delivery - Pine Creek 13°49'36.35"S, 131°50'51.69"E
In accordance with CASA approval, deconfliction requirements will be adhered to, including the use of NOTAMs, monitoring of the relevant aviation radio frequencies, and, if required, the use of electronic conspicuity devices.
This information is provided as part of the Stakeholder Engagement Plan and to provide an opportunity for stakeholders to raise any safety concerns on the information provided. Specific stakeholder engagement will be conducted with those areas and operators more directly affected by this RPAS operation.
