Have your say on proposed changes to TAF services as part of the Aerodrome Forecast (TAF) Review 2026.
The issue
- The TAF Review 2026 Consultation Report has now been released.
- The Bureau is seeking feedback on the proposed changes outlined in the report.
- Please provide your feedback by 24 November 2026 by emailing TAFreview@bom.gov.au, including your name, contact phone number, organisation and any relevant operational information.
- Stakeholders are encouraged to provide any relevant supporting information or data, as outlined in the Consultation Report, to support their feedback.
- Any enquiries about the proposed changes or consultation process can also be directed to TAFreview@bom.gov.au.
Purpose
The Bureau of Meteorology is seeking feedback from the aviation industry and other interested parties on the proposed changes outlined in the TAF Review 2026 Consultation Report.
The Consultation Report, frequently asked questions and information on how to provide feedback are available on the TAF Review 2026 webpage at https://www.bom.gov.au/aviation/taf-review/index.shtml.
Proposal
The Bureau of Meteorology is consulting with the aviation industry and other interested parties on proposed changes to Aerodrome Forecast (TAF) services outlined in the TAF Review 2026 Consultation Report.
Stakeholders are encouraged to review the proposed changes relevant to their operations and provide feedback, including any relevant operational information, supporting data or other evidence that should be considered before final decisions are made.
Please provide feedback by 24 November 2026 to TAFreview@bom.gov.au.
