The Koonibba Rising Rocket (KRR) launch airspace solution has been simplified to a single Temporary Restricted Area (TRA), activated by Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) on one or more occasions between 8–15 June 2026.

    Purpose

Following prior consultation, the KRR launch airspace management solution has been simplified. A single TRA will be declared to encompass the entire hazard area, activated by NOTAM for launch attempts between 8 and 15 June 2026.

NOTAMs will be raised approximately one week prior to the launch and will advise on TRA activation timings for the target launch day and viable backup days.

NOTAMs will be revised should these dates be subsequently deemed unsuitable for launch or upon the safe conclusion of the activity. Please refer to the imagery and coordinate table below for the revised TRA boundary.
