Proposed Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) operations in Queensland supporting aeromedical logistics expansion.
RPAS Operations will occur from surface – 400 feet, Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS), from point-to-point in the area outlined in the attachments. Swoop Aero are seeking input from local airspace users on any deconfliction or safety requirements.
To inform Aviation State Engagement Forum (AvSEF) users of proposed RPAS operations in Queensland commencing in the second quarter of 2023.
Swoop Aero has been successfully conducting aeromedical logistics operations in Goondiwindi, in Southeast Queensland, since November 2021. Swoop Aero is proposing a phased expansion of its operation throughout Southeast Queensland. These operations will use RPAS, flying BVLOS, to primarily deliver medical goods with tertiary services including other logistics, humanitarian aid and disaster relief, mapping, monitoring, surveys and demonstrations.
These operations will take place during, or around, business hours with additional specific stakeholder engagement to be conducted with those areas more directly affected.

In line with CASA approval of these operations, all strategic and tactical deconfliction requirements will be adhered to which may include but not limited to, the use of NOTAMs, and electronic conspicuity devices.
